Acceptable Use Policy
Effective Date: [TO BE INSERTED ON PUBLISHING] Last Updated: May 2, 2026 Version: 1.0
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) is incorporated by reference into the Flikt.AI Terms of Service. By accessing or using the Flikt.AI platform, services, websites, or APIs (collectively, the “Platform”), you agree not to engage in any of the following.
Prohibited Actions
You may not, and may not permit anyone using your account or any shareable link generated by the Platform to:
Upload content you do not have the right to upload, including construction documents subject to a non-disclosure agreement that does not permit AI-assisted analysis, plans owned by a third party without permission, or other materials infringing intellectual property or contractual rights.
Upload malicious code, including PDFs, archives, or attachments containing viruses, malware, ransomware, or files designed to disrupt the Platform or any system, server, or network.
Upload content prohibited by law, including content that violates U.S. or applicable foreign export controls, sanctions, or restricted-technology laws.
Upload protected health information (“PHI”) within the meaning of HIPAA without first executing a Business Associate Agreement with Flikt.AI. Flikt.AI is not currently a HIPAA-covered Business Associate; uploads containing PHI without a BAA are prohibited.
Upload classified or controlled-unclassified national-security information, including documents bearing classification markings, ITAR/EAR-controlled technical data, or critical-infrastructure documents subject to government distribution restrictions, except where Flikt.AI has agreed in writing to handle such information.
Upload content that exploits or depicts minors in any harmful or sexual manner. Flikt.AI will report such content to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and law-enforcement authorities.
Reverse engineer the Platform, decompile or disassemble its code, or attempt to derive the source code or underlying models, except as expressly permitted by applicable law.
Scrape, crawl, or otherwise access the Platform through automated means other than through documented APIs and within the rate limits applicable to your subscription.
Resell, license, or distribute conflict reports generated by the Platform as a stand-alone product. Reports are licensed for use within the project to which they relate and for the benefit of the parties to that project; they are not licensed for resale or commercial distribution outside the originating project.
Share account credentials with anyone outside your organization. Each authorized user must have their own account.
Circumvent usage limits, rate limits, or feature restrictions tied to your subscription tier, including by creating multiple accounts to evade caps.
Misrepresent your identity, your affiliation with any organization, or your authority to upload documents on behalf of any project owner.
Conduct denial-of-service attacks, port scans, vulnerability scans (without prior written authorization from Flikt.AI), or other actions intended to disrupt the Platform’s operation or compromise its security.
Distribute Flikt.AI-generated shareable links to recipients other than those you intend to grant access. Treat share links as confidential project communications.
Use the Platform, or any data or output derived from it, to develop or train a directly competing AI-assisted construction-document review service.
Use the Platform in ways prohibited by Flikt.AI’s underlying AI providers’ acceptable-use policies, including using the Platform to develop weapons, generate disinformation, or target individuals for surveillance.
Outputs are Advisory
Conflict reports are AI-assisted analyses intended to supplement, not replace, professional review. AI systems may produce inaccurate or hallucinated findings. Customer is responsible for verifying findings before relying on them for design, construction, or contractual decisions. Customer Data is not used to train Flikt.AI’s models or its sub-processors’ models.
Reporting and Enforcement
Report suspected violations to abuse@flikt.ai. Flikt.AI may investigate, suspend, restrict, or terminate any account or shareable link in violation of this AUP, with or without prior notice depending on the severity of the violation. For copyright-infringement claims, see the Shareable Links Reporting Policy & Control and the DMCA designated-agent contact information published there.
