Annual Savings
How this is calculated
The number of conflicts caught per project scales with sheet count and discipline overlap. Conflict density varies by building type — healthcare and mixed-use sets are denser with coordination touchpoints; industrial sets are sparser. We use a per-project density of 7–18 conflicts per 100 sheets depending on type.
Rework cost avoided uses the per-clash benchmark you set above multiplied by the conflicts caught. The default $1,500 is the Catenda / United-BIM industry midpoint for field-discovered coordination errors.
Change orders avoided assumes 40–50% of coordination-driven change orders are catchable in pre-construction review (Autodesk / FMI 2022 Rework Study). The output applies that share to your change-order-rate input multiplied by project value.
RFIs avoided uses the industry rule of thumb that 30–50% of RFIs stem from coordination failures. Default sheet-to-RFI ratio is ~1 RFI per 3 sheets, calibrated to Autodesk / FMI data.
Time saved compares Flikt’s same-day review to the 3–6 weeks a manual interdisciplinary review traditionally takes.
Conservative / Most Likely / Optimistic scenarios apply 0.5×, 1.0×, and 1.5× multipliers on top of the base calculation to reflect uncertainty.
