Is Flikt.AI a good fit for your project?
A straight answer, including the projects it is wrong for. It costs a great deal less to find that out here than after the set is uploaded.
Every tool publishes who it is for. The more useful half of the question is who it is not for, and almost nobody publishes that — so buyers work it out afterwards, which is the expensive way to learn it.
Flikt.AI does one narrow thing: it reads a set of construction documents and reports where they contradict each other. The narrowness is what makes it fast. Here is where that lands well, where it does not, and the handful of questions that actually decide it.
Where this lands well, and where it does not
Neither column is a hedge. If your project sits in the right-hand one, the honest answer is that another instrument will serve you better, and we would rather say so now.
How long does the answer take?
Fit is usually decided by the calendar. Bids close, permits are due, and a review that arrives after the decision was made is not a review. Turnaround is not a setting on any of these — it follows from how each one works.
Questions that settle it
What kinds of projects is Flikt.AI a good fit for?
Documented building projects where the coordination set is 2D PDFs rather than a maintained 3D model, and where more than one discipline is in the upload — multifamily, single-family, retail and tenant buildout, hospitality, office, institutional, industrial and renovation work. What decides the outcome is the completeness of the set, not the building type or its size.
When is Flikt.AI not the right tool?
When you need a quantity takeoff, when federated models already exist and a clash workflow is running on them, when the upload is a single discipline with nothing to cross-reference, or when what you actually need is a sealed professional opinion or a jurisdiction’s plan check. It reads documents and reports contradictions; those are different jobs.
Do I need the specifications, or are the drawings enough?
Drawings alone return a real review, but a large share of findings come from a drawing contradicting a spec section, so a drawings-only upload leaves that category unread. Send the whole set you issued, addenda included. If brand standards came with the set, those are cross-checked against the drawings the same way.
Is this a replacement for a design professional’s review?
No. Flikt.AI reads what the documents say and reports where they disagree with each other. Every finding cites the sheets and quotes the language behind it precisely so a qualified person can open that sheet, confirm or reject it, and decide what it means for the project.
How small a project is too small?
Size is the wrong axis. Because the review is document-based, what matters is whether there is more than one discipline to read against another. A single-family residence issued with a full discipline set is a real review; a two-sheet permit drawing has nothing to cross-reference and will come back thin.
The cheapest way to find out is to try it
Upload a set and read what comes back. The first preview is free, and it answers this page better than this page does.
